Photography is my passion. I can't think of any better way to capture and preserve your life than with photography. It never ceases to amaze me, what all I have seen and experienced, when I sit down to look back over my life in photos. It's a gift.
I picked up my mother's old Brownie camera as a kid and moved on to a Canon 35mm SLR in high school. I spent my allowance and most of my babysitting money on film and processing. Then after joining the Marines in 1978, I was lucky enough to get to take pictures for a living. I was like a kid in a candy store - Nikon 35mm SLR's, Hasselblad studio cameras, all the film I could use, and free processing! I never enjoyed the processing part of photography and I am thrilled to have been privileged to live in the age of the digital photo!
Now I travel full-time in an RV and try to capture every place I visit in a photograph. Or FIFTY-FIVE THOUSAND photographs as I did on my first trip to Alaska in 2007.
This country is so beautiful - it's my dream to see it in every season, in every light. And to capture it in a photograph.
So welcome to my world!! I hope you enjoy your visit!
